The International Universities High School Visits 2024/2025
Times Higher Education (THE) & BMI will bring groups of international universities from across the world to visit a select group of schools in Brazil, China, Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Thailand, UAE and Vietnam.
During the visit, students will be able to meet senior admissions directors of these universities, who can help them to understand the various education systems, admissions procedure and application deadlines. This is a unique opportunity for your students (and their parents) to discover the wide range of courses available at universities across the world - at your school! If you would like to see a list of some of the universities we work with and which may visit your school, please contact us. |
How it works
The visits to your school will last between 60 to 90 minutes - depending on your schedule. The visit allows students (and parents) to not only find out about the wide variety of study abroad choices available but also to receive the latest information on study abroad requirements, procedures and the application process in each country of interest. Each international institution would be provided a table - usually in a large meeting room or sports hall or appropriate large space. |
The tables are laid out around the edge of the room and each institution will bring their own banner and signage about the university and its programs. Students and parents are invited to visit and speak directly with the international universities. Students are usually from the last two years of high school.
We would arrive about 30 minutes before and usually leave 30 minutes after the mini-fair and the school has the option of welcoming the international institutions with a short welcome speech and/or short tour of the school. We try to make the minimum disruption to the school and its regular schedule.
We also provide you with some specially prepared promotional material to publicise the event in your school:
- Email to send to parents to invite them to come to the event;
- Email to send to students to attend the fair;
- Posters to place inside the school.
Therefore, apart from providing the space, tables and chairs for the exhibitors, we do not require anything else and there is no cost to the school.
